Hello. While looking for headers for a 460 in a 78 Bronco, I've found that they are all real expensive. I know the manifolds from a 460 van will fit, so does anyone know if the headers for a 460 van would fit? They seem to be about half the price as the ones specifically for a Bronco. Thanks.

Sometimes power costs money. I recommend headers from L&L Products. They are nickel plated and have a excellent fit. They run about $350 to $400 dollars. I love mine.
Eric....I was wondering if you ever found the answer about the headers for the van working on your Bronco...I have a 460 that I am getting ready to put in my 79 Bronco.
Nope, I never foud out about the van headers. I just ended up using the L&L inside the frame headers. The one problem I have with these is that the passenger side collector hits the floor pan. Two of the bolts are also nearly impossible to tighten. Good luck with the swap.

I know a guy who bought a set for his 79 bronco 4x4. They just came in today. The thing is, is he's going to sell the truck so he is stuck with them he wanted to sell them to me for 150$ I don't know the specs but i could find out tomarrow and post em'.
Eric it's me josh taylor from michigan. I had wrote you about the dana 60. Still looking. anyway, use 2 wheel drive headers for 78 truck, or spent the money for l&l fender exits. the 460 in 2 wheel headers fit but require a small amount of frame notching. Get these from hedman for 90 bucks and line them up and torch the frame gradually until you have a nice fit. enough frame is left to retain strengh and headers fit ok. I had looked at headers that my buddies uncle had on his van and they seemed really long and looked like they would interfere with the front drive shaft and crossmember. I would either use the two wheelers or l&l's. I know personally that the two wheelers work though and it's a cheap set of headers. myself, I would buy l&l if i were you i really like mine. hope this helps any questions email at prnstr19@hotmail. take er easy... Josh taylor
Thanks for the info Eric....I am getting anxious to get going on the install...By the way...how do you like the 460?
Antonio...I would be very interested in your friends headers...Could you email me with the details?
you can email me at Iam4father(No Email Addresses In Posts!)
I like the 460 a lot. It has so much more power than the old 351M ever did. Just have a couple more things to take care of on the truck before I can really test the engine out though. The only complaint I have about the 460 is the noise from the passenger side header hitting the floor pan. It make such a loud buzzing noise. Gives me more of a reason to install my stereo. Good luck.
