grill cover

dealer said that my complimentary grill cover is in and that they would install it for me. Does anyone know where I can see a photo of this grill cover installed. I would just like to see what the thing looks like before I have them install it. Do any of you out there know what is all involved with the install. I dont want to have a bunch of holes or snaps put in the front of my truck.... maybe I'm blowing it out of proportion in my own mind!
Thanks in advance

no holes or snaps, it has wings that hold it in place and 5 straps at the top, if you don't like the looks once its installed it'll take you all of 2 minutes to remove it

the wings just fold over around the grill to hold it on

Got mine from the Dealer a couple of weeks ago. It seems to help a bit warming the truck, guess that shouldn't be a surprise. Remains to be seen if it cuts down on the number of regens.

Here it is. Once you figure out all the stupid straps, it's not too bad.

Will the cover still fit well if you have a air deflector on?

I bought the Cabela's grill cover, but you have to glue (that gray super sticky tape) on 5 black snaps top and bottom along the chrome billet grill (the top 5 snaps would glue to the air deflector). Doesn't look good if you don't have the cover on - so I popped off the snaps before the glue set and might put them back on with the 3M double stick tape that I know I can get off when winter is over.

should fit with a deflector on, it pretty much just covers the openings on the grill

IMHO The cover looks kinda ugly. There must be a better looking stainless steel insert cover out there some where. But I guess if it's free......

I am thinking about upgrading top the new 08/09 in the next six months but if I do decide I think I would rather put something on the inside of the grille...
