Not real bad if you are mechanically inclined. First thing to do is jack up the truck and remove the tires and gain access to the end of the axles. Next, remove the cover from the rear end so you can drain the fluid and remove the pin and clips that holds the axles in place. Once this is done, remove the axles and remove the seals. They have a shoulder on them that goes over the end of the axle housing so it is hard to see with all the crud caked on them. Once you replace them, reassemble the items and refill the pumpkin. Don't forget to add the friction modifier.
