I was driving to breakfast this AM and the check engine light came on. I have no idea what is causing it. I will take it to the dealer this week and let you all know. The vehicle has almost 16,000 miles on it. It is still under warranty.

BTW, if the stealership wants to keep ur truck over night and u dont want that, then take it to autozone. They scan codes when ur check eng light is on for free.
Could be gas cap related. Did you screw it on crooked maybe? Not tight? Take the gas cap off, put it back on and go through 3 thermal cycles to see if the check engine light will go off. This has happened on my Crown Victoria several times.
you need to read the code and that will tell you what you want to know............gas cap is a big possibility. you need to put a SC from Spartan in there.........it will haul but and you can read codes + better mpgs......

I was thinking of something like that but I only drive it about 5k a year. It's hard to justify the money for not driving it that much.
