The easiest way to remove the bolts hold the water pump pulley on is to first hit the bolts with penetrating oil and then leave the belt on while you loosen them, this hold the pulley in place. After cracking the bolts, remove the belt, and remove the bolts and the pulley.

nope.
use the strap wrench on the pulley and the other wrench on the fan clutch.
it is a pain in th *** to get off.
it helps if you have an extra person.
if you try heating it right where it meets the pulley that may help.
on the strap you turn it to the right and the wrench to the left.
watch that radiator or take it out.
