anybody still running 390FE motors? I've got one sitting in my shop, 100% torn down, that I can't seem to even GIVE away.. whats the deal?

1976 f250 390 rebuilt last year using for a plow truck.4bbl carb,rv cam...truck is a plowin beast...i LOVE it!!!

I have two 390FEs. One in a 71 ton and the other in a 79 f250 4x4 im building. Very good engines but thirsty. The ones my dad always had never lasted very long but they were junkyard motors. What the life span of one?
