My wife's a school bus driver also. she's been driving almost ten years.

I have a few bus pictures but they're on my shop computer, I'm at home now. I do have a couple here:

Click on the image to below, another window with open with a lot more pictrures of this bus. This was recently sold on eBay.

These are the bus ads in the 1949 Hildy's Ford truck catalog. Click on an image to bring up a larger version in a separate window.

I have my eyes on a bout a '58 FORD school bus. My mother in law uses it to store "stuff" in it.
One of these days I will talk her out of it.

my wife is a bus driver also . so as such if i could find a decent one close i'd be able to get another old ford parked here rather easily under the guise of it being hers ..

Add these to the mix. Pics taken somewhere along the road between Illinois and Arizona.

Right clip on the pictures and "save as" a image file on your computer.

Thumbs up Reminiscencing about old school buses

I like the old 1950 ford bus, the first bus i ever rode on was a 1950 ford bus. Dos Palos elementry school bus # was 6-50 for some reason i will never forget that number. i recall one hot afternoon going home from school and it konked out for some reason, they picked us up in another bus (i think it was a wayne) # 9-55.. my uncle also drove school bus for the Dos Palos High School. oh well i was just rattling on, nice pictures brought back an old thought.

No pics here, but there are a couple of busses from the 30's in the area. They've been sitting a while, and I am not sure of the brand. Thought about picking them up for a while, and building one out of the two. Cousin in law was in a band that was moving up fast in the grunge rock genre a while back, and I thought about getting them because thay could of made a really cool adams family type tour bus. They are big enough that they could of at least been cool to ride in for the band members, but not enough room for the equipment.

Maybe it'd be ok if I add a Power Wagon bus.
