The hitch on my 2000 Eddie Bauer is factory and I have sanded and painted it several times, but I still think it is ugly. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes one that is hidden more up under the bumper? I still want a class III/IV hitch with at least the same rating as my factory one because I pull my travel trailer with it. Thanks, Brian
I bought my Hidden Hitch for my Expy for the same reason. I wanted something that was sleek and only exposed at the receiver. I bought it at etrailer.com It was cheaper than most retailers offer it, even with shipping.
Hey, thanks for the replies. I just looked up that one on etrailer.com and I really like that one. That looks exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks, Brian
If you do install the new hitch and are concerned on how the visible portions of the hitch appear, try using spray-on bedliner. I did this on my stock hitch and it has been bulletproof and still looks new. If you do this I reccommend doing it prior to installation and make sure you don't get any in the receiver slot so you can still install your hitch. You could also have a shop color match it to your truck. My brother did this and it looks awesome, just cost a little more to have a shop do it.

This works great guys. You can do it while on the truck, too. Mask off anywhere you don't want covered and spray. You'll get a great looking, long lasting finish.
