I don't get too wound up over football, or any sport for that matter any more. I like racing, but have lost interest in any one driver. I prefer drag racing, but don't get the exposure to follow it very well. I'll probably be on the road during the game as it is.
Actually, I wasn't really rooting for either team (Chiefs fan, lousy year), but since you put it that way Ken, how can Pat not root for the "Pats"!!
Pat...I hereby declare you an honorary member of Patriots Nation...with all the rights...privileges...and responsibilities associated with membership. On Monday...you will be able to tell everyone within shouting distance that YOUR Patriots won the Super Bowl. At least I hope you'll be able to!!!
From all of us here in the Nebraska Chapter, we send our condolenses out to all the Patriot fans....Especially you Ken....Hopefully, you haven't thrown yourseof off of a rooftop somewhere...!
Didn't get to see the game (had to work). But I was able to see some highlights after the game. Glad to see the Giants win, but too bad the Pats Didn't make history. Would have been kinda cool.
Figure I'll try to help liven things a bit... what is this weather talk, ya think it's the midwest or something, all we ever talk about is the weather... sheesh...
So any project you boys are working on? I got more than I know what to do with, just have to figure out which one gets the attention first... Got a tractor split right now doing the clutch on it, and then a lot more little stuff to do, then my 86 needs a clutch so I can get back to using it, then the 92 needs a trans, since reverse is out, then I should split another tractor to fix the hydraulic leak on the clutch, then the main seal and sender leaks on the old 84 6.9, then tear down a couple trucks that have seen much better days, and fix the shop a bit to get the door hung properly, and rework the barn so we can get the tractors in since the shop burned down that we used to park them in... All this while I go to college fulltime, and work part time, deal with kids, wife, sister, father, and deal with my back issues. I think I will be busy for a few years on right now, let alone catching up on the maintenecae of the last 30 years on the farm...How's your day????
hey, i'm kindof a tractor guy myself, wat u workin on...just curious
i'm pretty sure that the giants just had about 2 or 3 more lucky plays than the pats, that the only reason they won i think...
I dunno Kenny, it looked to me like the Giants wanted that game more. I'm thinking the Patriots game in thinking it was a lock. That's the way they played, anyway. But, hey, a bright spot to our week (at least for Husker fans) is signing day wednesday!!

Miami eh? we must have regained some of our former reputation if were stealing kids from big names such as that lol! it's going to be a good year of husker football!!!!
as far as the 99, haven't really done anything w/ it, i had to pay 200 big ones to get it out of impound but was pleasantly surprised when i was able to drive it up onto the trailer...still debating on whether to fix it, sell it, or part it out...dad's pricing out parts right now, but he's a little more ambitious than i, just sell it and be done w/ it i say.
took the 81 out for a little romp thru columbus saturday night and got pulled over in it lol!! there was too much mud on my tail lights and they wrote me a fix it ticket for that hahaha....o yea, and all the steam coming from under the hood too lol (she's kinda got an overheating issue...)
ya, as much as i'd like to take her everywhere, the 81 probably never gonna amount to more than i farm truck...still looking for something a bit more reliable...and legal...
