I like all of the Mercury trim! I like the '48-50 Ford design but the Mercs have it beat. I guess it's because it's so rare, at least around here. I have only seen a '48-52 Merc once in person once and unfortunately, the guy who had them was a real jerk and I couldn't enjoy the moment.
Man, all you guys that have stock wheels in the "before" photos and custom wheels in the "after" photos...how come I'm having such a hard time finding a pair of original 16" wheels for sale???

My truck came with six wheels and eight tires. Only two of the wheels matched, the rest were all different from each other! Of the eight tires, only two held air so the dealer towed the truck home for me! Now I have a set of "rollers" on the truck - used chrome wheels and used tires. And the neighbors don't frown as much as they originally did!

Abe,
Love that Meadow Green man!!! The true color is the one with the sled right?
My Panel truck was Meadow green when it was new. Hopefully it will be again someday.

Yes, the truck paint looks more like the picture with the sled. That is the most recent picture. Don't know why the other looks so different, maybe the sun, or the camera. I think the earlier one was taken with 35mm film camera, the recent with a digital camera.
