Calico Clean Up!

Hey FTE!

So in a couple weeks there is a clean up out in the Calico area (10 miles north of Barstow) on Feb 16, ill probably head out on Friday evening and camp out there...anyone else interested? The calico clean up site is very slow right now...probably getting a lot of traffic since it is around the corner. Come out and give a hand and have some fun!

Congrats on selling the Ranger!

I'm going to California City for President's Day weekend so I'll miss the Calico trip.

Theres a link on calicocleanup.com that says why. I think it was because the BLM didnt approve or some crap.

Steve, Its a good thing you dont have to take the ranger up that weekend, cause i'll be using my trailer.

I will be there friday afternoon till sunday morning/afternoon. Will be tenting it and will bring the buggy..woohoo!

You guys should get in contact with me and find where the group i first dedicated myself to is camping, and come camp right next to us. We can have spitwad wars, and make noises when people are trying to go to sleep!

Come to find out, the poker run was cancelled due to the inability of the organizers to secure a catagorical exclusion (CX) since the route goes thru the "sensitive" environmental habitat of the Desert Tortoise.

I will probably be there early on friday to get a good spot. I'll also probably have a big ModBargains banner so people can find me.
