We gotta sleep somewhere! I'm not sure if it's gonna be the Motel scene or just in the back of the truck ( plenty comfortable for me, but I'm not so sure about the woman). Besides, Dave talking about making noise when people are trying to sleep does not bode well for the camp option. We will hang out one way or the other, however.

Dave was talking about making noises at HIS camp.... I Dont want to hear daves noises
Well, unless you are REALLY loud, the noises are not going to bother us, cause we are going the Motel route. Going to leave here around noon, go and secure the room and then head over to the site and find you guys to hang out.

I will be with adventure4x4.com in Mule Canyon a little up the canyon past the secondary staging area. Feel free to come camp next to us. Look for the adventure4x4 banners or my silver Expedition. If you need my cell, PM anytime this week and ill send it over.
I hope you guys are all signed up. You NEED to sign up for this event, and you NEED to check in at the staging area near the Discovery Center.
You should bring,
A Rake, and a Shovel - there is a lot of broken glass and small debris that will be easier to round up by the load ...
Gloves - Protect your hands from the trash and from blistering when raking, shoveling, etc.
Trash Bags (Heavy Duty) - You'll need something to put all that debris you've so nicely shoveled into. Makes transporting back to the drop off area much easier. And don't underestimate how many of these we'll probalby go through - bring a bunch.
Mover's blanket (s) - if you need to load up garbage into or onto your vehicle to take to the drop off, and don't want to worry about your vehicle getting scratched up from the sharp stuff, these blankets will help save the plastic inside and the paint outside.
It will be much easier to deal with too much equipment for gathering / moving the garbage than too little, so your assistance is appreciated....
thanks for all the info! looks like ill need to make a stop for supplies...or raid the parentals garage...haha are there fire rings near the mule canyon area you are staying at?
Looks to me like everyone is ready to go. I'm gonna get the food and stuff today, and take most of the shotgun shells out of the back of my truck, dust off a few items and I'll be set.
