What a steal that truck is!! "Runs and drives" -- despite not having any front wheels! And laying in an apparent swamp is probably good for it, too!

Would this be a direct bolt on for my 58? What else would I have to change?

"There is no title but with age one could obtain one". Does that mean if you let sit in your swamp it will eventually make a title on it's own?

Oh, and the grille looks like a '57 to me too. Sort of like the '56 with square frames around single headlights.

sure looks like a 57 f100 to me (only in slightly worse condition than mine)
nobody is making those grilles as repros- i've been looking for 2 years for one.
that grille should be a straight swap with the 58 double lights.
a clean 57 grille only (no running truck attachet- haha) has been getting $250+ on ebay.

I think it would bolt right in too, and would look LOTS BETTER!!!!! I like the '57 Grille much better than the '58.(just my opinion)

I explained to this individual that it was a '57, not a '58 & the engine was probably a 223, not a 300.
But I was told off & to mind my own business, go figure.

That insult did not come from me! I am looking for pure insight. I happen to like the grille and respect your knowledge. I am new at the f100 thing and have always like the 57-60 trucks. I bought one did the work and would never insult one who has done the same. If there was an insult from this screen name I will have to change my password

QLP, Not You!
The seller that has this truck up on auction is whom I meant.
I ask your pardon for the confusion & thank'ee kindly.

Go figure, here in the frozen north country I have a fairly decent & mostly complete 57 M100 similar short box nobody around here wants.....
One of our Man/Sask chapter members has a decent running 59 short box Ford/223 with disc brake conversion and was asking around $3700.
