tractors are my second hobby!! I currently own a 1964 John Deere 4020, 1937 John Deere D, 1962 Case 930, and a 1956 Ford 600. I would love to have that crawler, those are some sweet tractors!!!!
I've got 3 Case tractors--1 with a new plow,2. mower deck 3. spare with a cutter bar. I also have a Farmall Cub in Florida and my Dad and I restored it. He loves that thing. I have a ranchette and he loves to use the belly mower. Best ever to see him smile while drivin' it!!! I want another or a red bottom Ford for up North.......maybe if I sell some of the big trucks......Bill
We had a '48 Ford 8N on our small farm in PA. Dad loved it. He bought it new. Had all the extras: sickle bar mower, belt driven saw, big Ford script umbrella, grille gaurd, etc. In the late 60's he wanted more power and traded it in for a '53 Jubilee tractor. After a week he missed the 8N so much, went back to the dealer and bought back the 8N and kept the 53. So now we had 2 Fords.
If I had a farmette I would look for a 8N to buy but I live in town...
My Grandfather (the one I bought my truck from) had all John Deere's on his dairy farm so I had the pleasure as a kid and teenager to drive both Fords and John Deeres!
I wonder if Ford Tractor stores have any flatmotor parts?
Truckdog, it appears you live in central Illinois? Whereabouts? (you should put it in your signature or whatever it's called at the upper right of each post)
