It's a little more complicated than that.
Because lightnings are supercharged their IAT sensors are seperate from their MAFs.
I have a IAT sensor in the intake at #1 runner. This gives a more accurate IAT reading. You have to remove the IAT sensor wires out of our oem maf and run them to the lightning IAT sensor.....where ever you put it.
Than you can install a lightning maf in place of the oem maf.
I got my lightning maf and IAT sensor from Ford oem parts dealer.
Note the bigger TB will flow more air than a stock TB once the opening matches the stock TB max opening. So if aftermarket TB is 5% bigger than the last 5% will add more air than stock.
If you don't have a custom tune you cannot use a lightning maf. Stock iat sensors read ambiant and pcm increases iat in pcm by 30 to 50 degrees. So a stock pcm or KB chip will increase all iat sensor readings and mess up volume readings for AF ratios.
