Well i ordered my dp tuner and a JW valve body today from itp diesel. Can't wait to get it all. Dennis said it will be a couple weeks on the valve bodies but i am hopin to the tuner by the weekend. My brothers got a dodge with a juice and attitude and he pulled me the other day from a 40 mph kick with my evo II in the extreme setting. So i am hoping the dp will help me pull him.
Probably a stupid question I know.....but after the simple green...when I hose it down, do I just spray backwards toward the firewall and let everything run off/back the rear of the engine?
Yep, it all runs down. No worries. I used about two cans of brake kleen when i had to spray off the underside of my truck due to the extreme amounts of oil i had under there.EDIT- hey Aoca looks like you posted in the wrong topic about your engine washing. I didn't think to look at the title, just responded. can someone take care of this issue.

Trent,
The "valve body" is the accumulator valve body in the transmission. It is what controls the shift duration and holding pressure on the clutches. When you install a shift kit, most of the parts go in that VB. There are a couple places where you can get one already mod'ed up, or you can just buy a shift kit and do it yourself. Up to you and how comfortable you are tearing into your tranny.
Like they said, its amazing what a little computer chip and someones knowledge(Jody) can make these trucks do. I still get a big ol grin on my face every time I step on the throttle.
I can't wait to get em and see how much better the dp is over my evo II. Yeah i went with the John Woods b/c i just got them from both ITP Diesel. Dennis was also real nice and helpful through e-mails helping me out. He let me know that John woods is still working on some valve bodies right now and told me it will proly be end of next week before he gets it sent out to me but thats alright.
well just for an update, I got my tuner in today. Just hooked it up and rode around the block and all i can say is WOW. I love the way the truck responds and especially the way shifts compared to with the edge evo II. Can't wait to drive it some more and see how big of a smile it can put on my face.
