Hey guys and girls if anyone knows any reason my 1990 f250 wont start let me know.I start it like every 2 days and i went out to it the other day but it wont start .All the lights and radio go on but the engine does not make a sound it wont crank or anything.Any hints would be great thank you.
If all your doing is starting it and letting it run for a few minutes, your not letting the battery charge up. It's draining more out of the battery than the alternator can put back. Especially if all it's doing is idleing.
Check your starter relay. I think it's on the passenger side fender. Not sure though.
If your batter is charged, your cables are good/clean, and your starter relay is good.
It's probably the starter solenoid.
if he jumps the relay-it should start if battery has enough juice-K.I.S.S-keep it simple ******- has always worked for me-over analysing things gets us in trouble-well it does me anyways!!!
