Keypad Code??

Keypad Code??
I just bought an '06 F-150, the dealer doesnt know the code to unlock the doors with the outside keypad... I know there has got to be some way to get the code from Ford or reset the code. Anybody know how to go about this??? Any help would be great!!!

Well you can take your back seat apart and the code is printed on the computer box thingy.. or you can go to ford and they can hook up to your computer and rread the code form there, depending on your dealer it might cost ya ... or you could just keep trying random numbers! Thats what I do everytime i get in.. never know!

You can take it to Ford and have them get it for you. If you have a manual there should be a card in there with the code on it. Or it should be located on the keyless module behind the rear seat back on the drivers side.

I hope it wasn't a Ford dealer that told you they didn't know how to get the code. Even if it was a GM or Dodge dealer, I'd think they would call a local Ford dealer and assist you in getting the code. That's what the dealer in Florence, Oregon does for customers who buy used cars where the code has been lost. It's called customer service.

hey i had this same problem when i got my 05 uesd ...i took the seat off and 15mins later i know the code ...there is step by step direction if you look it up at google's

place your keys on the driver seat, make shure the windows are in the up possition close the doors and press the last two buttons on the key pad at the same time and watch the key pad, it will light up in the order you need to unlock you truck.... just kidding, glad to hear the teck hooked you up.
