My dad said that buy now any of the problem childs have gotten the problems worked out and the techs know how to work on them now. He is a certified ford diesel tech. I would get a oasis on it and then if it has a clean oasis and the if the trucks in good shape and you like it go for it. I personally would go 2-3 older as long as I wasn't losing any power, towing capability or anything like that to get a little nicer truck. Just like my dad did he almost bought a 97 F-150 reg cab, 4.6L 4x4 XL, but he bought the truck in my sig and it was 3 years old and it towed just as much, it was just nicer and had more people room and we haven't regreted that choice yet.

What ranch hand bumpers do you have? I have the rear 8" now and I have been thinking about a bullnose for the front but I am concerned about my plow setup being in the way.
