Gutting Turbo

Whats everyones option on gutting the turbo?

Yes gut the EBPV, the butterfly and the acuator!! Don't gut the turbo though...it cuts down on boost pressure! LOL

oh common, just gut the whole turbo, that way it will spool faster??

Yes, remove the butterfly and you get about a 50* drop in exhuast temps. Remove the actuator from the turbo pedestal you lose a common oil leak cause. The only down side if you remove any of the above is you no longer have the option of an exhuast brake if you tow alot.
