Where does this wire go? (Pics)

Do you think it would work just as well if i went from (-) batt. to fender (like yours), then from fender to engine ground that is below the intake where the other ground is hooked up that goes to the firewall then hood?
Or, should i go to that bolt on the bottom of the block???? My plow is on, and its hard to get under my truck. Plus its like 10 degrees out with 50mph wind and i dont especially feel like laying in the snow.

Mine doesnt go to the fender. There is the stock little wire that goes from the fender to the terminal. I took some better pics of how its run, and of how the braided wire is on it.
This pic is the terminal and where the grounds are.
This pic is the ground wire running down to the frame rail.
And the last one is the braided wire that goes from the firewall to the upper intake.

Thanks so much for taking all the time to show me those detailed pictures...its helps alot. My truck is a 250 so i guess the wire is slightly different, but im going to buy the new cables in a few hours. We are under a "blizzard Warning" (50+ mph wind w/ 11" of snow and windchills down to -30) so i might not get to it today as i cant fit her in my garage.
