I know the oil coolers are different and maybe the motor mounts between the block and the frame. Also not sure if the accessories brackets (a/c, alt, ps) are the same but I think they are. BTW that is a good deal for a motor!! Nice find!
What year E motor.
All parts will swapout.
Just have to see if the fuel system is elect or mech.
You may not be able to go back to mech. (no casting in block)
the motor is out of a 97 i am hopeing it is mech i dont want to go get into all that right now maybe later i justwant my stroke back for right now the gasser is killing my wallet if you know what i mean
Hi Madvan it's me again dude didn't buy my bus. I'm kind of glad in a way. Will the harness from a e350 sd fit up to a f350? Are the powerstroke motor mounts the same as a 7.3 idi motor mount? I may put the engine in an older f350 also. It has 237kmiles title also said mileage is not accurate but it runs great. It only smokes on start up when it's cold. I'm going to get an oil analysis done. Before i pull the engine.
ok i just got the motor and it looks like the fuel pump has the black round ufo thing on it if i change the fuel pump and the injectors will i be ok another thing i just read another post that said something about the up pipes are not the same whats up with that i would like to know everything befor i start thanks
If the motor was from an F-series that is all you need to do.
Its a Cali (f-series) splitshot inj motor.
It still could be an E-series motor.
Does all the accessories look the same (location)
