Checking stall sped

I bought this truck off a guy and I'm not sure what kind of torque conveter is in it or if it's a higher stall speed. Is there a way to check without tearing it apart?
I think someone once told me you could do it by using the tach.
Any help
John

There are 2 types of stall speed. Regular stall, where you get on the brake big time then slowly rev the motor until it won't rev any higher. Then there is flash stall and without a tach that captures max rpm you will be guessing at best. Motor at idle, brakes on then throttle to the floor. Whatever the max rpm was is you flash stall and it will always be higher than regular stall speed.
