1971 429 thunderjet

hi, i have a 72 ford shortbed, and a 71 429/c6 combo that i would like to put in my truck. Does anyone know exactly what parts i should use to shoehorn this engine into my truck? also this thing is rated at 360 hp but i would like to rebuild this engine to obtain more horsepower but also get some respectable gas mileage. (at least 10-15mpg.) i don't know if 10-15 mpg is realistic but i would like to get that much without having to go to an automatic with overdrive tranny. and would the stock driveshaft be able to hold that much power if i put a positrac in it? any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
Kurt
