99 Explorer 4.0 sohc
i have some problems with the truck chugging and idleing up and down. Some times while driveing it seems like it is getting too much gas the truck goes to 30 and the pedal is half way down and wont accelerate then it just takes off after about 10-15 seconds. Any help would be usefull thanks scott

Probably 20 different reasons for this. But I have an idea - do you have any computer codes? These are great for pin pointing any area to look at. Did you get a CEL? Even if not, the computer can store codes to help diagnos the situation. Any local auto parts store can help you pull codes if you don't have a code reader.
