Seat help

I'm looking for the bucket style bench seats with the fold down center council. I had one in my 1995 F150 Eddie Baur. Are they a Eddie Baur only seat? What years did they come in?

Try www.suburbanseats.com I think you'll find what you are looking for there. Hope this helps.

If you don't have any luck with the address above. Try this one.

http://www.junkyardparts.net/

Just click on your state or if you're near a state line the states near you.
Then just follow the on screen instructions.
If the yard is to far away and you're willing to chance it, most yards will ship.

If you buy a power seat, check to see if it works before you leave the yard.
I didn't and 4 months later (to late for the 30 day return policy)
when I tried to install the seat I found the mechanism had been bent by the crash the truck had been.

You can find most any used part at www.car-parts.com. You'll have to be selective, the first few listings are way too expensive, but the last pages have some good deals.

That is what I have in my truck. I bought it at a local junkyard out of a 95 XLT. My only gripe is a couple of tears and it's grey (my interior is blue), but for $120 I couldn't resist. Way better than the facory vinal bench.

my seat covers are about as close to reupholstered as it gets. they made them in leather when i ordered mine. they don't have all the different models listed on their site (not sure why), but when i emailed them a while back, they still have all the different templates for our trucks and were willing to make them. if you just pick any seat, you can get an idea of the material & price. i'd guess about $250

EDIT: this link has some more options:
http://www.precisionfit.com/index.ph...=101&year=1996
just click through some of the different years 250's and 350's and there are a few different style seats

A company called Kat Skins I think does leather upholstery kits to add leather to vehicles that did not come with it.

Well, mine's got it but the PO didn't really take care of it for the 81,000 miles he had it.....that and there's two holes in the driver's seat.

Why not just take it to an upholstery shop? You could probably even save a few bucks by taking the seat out and using one of your buddies trucks to take the seat to the shop.
