So, today it was planned that I would go to Spartanburg, SC and pickup my new racecar engine from Clements Race Engines and then jet on over to Greenville, SC and pickup my new late model chassis. On the way back I was going to stop in at Spartan Diesel to pickup my DPF Delete Tuner as well. So yesterday I prepared my 30" Pace Enclosed for the trip, checked tire pressure, washed her inside and out, and greased the hubs since it had been sitting since November. Come in this morning about 9AM to hitch up and go and Ill be damned that someone didn't slit the right side tires on the trailer with a knife! Of course it was the side that was up against a row of bushes that separate our property from the neighbors so they couldnt be seen as they did it. Im really pissed off as anyone else would be, why are people always just looking to destroy others people stuff that work so hard for it? Thanks for the vent session......
I had my 28' vintage enclosed broke into on christmas, had it parked back about 6' from a block wall. They ripped the locks off the back door becasue it was blind to anyone driving by. They stole a tool box that had about 1000.00 dollars in race parts and antother tool box with 500 or so worth of tools. What bothers me is i know when they opened the tool box with the parts they proably just dumped them in the trash.
The way the ecomony is going i think these problems are only going to get worse!
When I was building my house, I had someone come inside my house under construction and take some tools. Ok, my fault for leaving the tools out, so I hauled my enclosed trailer out there and locked everything I had to replace up. I'll be darned if the theifs didn't come back 4 days later, break into my trailer and steel more of my stuff. I was so freaking angry the second time. I remember calling my wife to tell her and she just broke down into tears. I mean, we were in the middle of building a house, money is already tight, I had just replaced tools and it happened again. I NEEDED those tools for construction. I ended up having to back the trailer up against the house, I parked my dad's tractor I had borrowed against the side door, lowered the toung to the ground and took the jack off the trailer.
Oh, and I went out that day and bought a used camper, pulled it to my job-site and lived there for the remainder of construction while my wife lived in the apartment we had rented. I parked the camper in front of the trailer and my truck in front of the camper at night. There was NO WAY anyone could steal again from me. It's a nice place, out in the country somewhat where you'd never think someone would do such a thing. I know it was the dirty freakin subs I had working on various things. I'm 99.9% sure it was the freakin roofers, but no way to prove it.
Look I feel for you but what in the world has this got to do with 6.4 Diesels?
Plenty, I live in LA and my dad cant even use his diesel around here. And when I use it, I have to make sure its only going to be parked out there for 45 mins max. Ive caught an idiot on top of it once..... dont know what he was doing but whos so disrespectful as too get on top of someone elses truck.
If it makes ya feel any better my dad got a tv and a dvd player stolen from his lincoln a while back. They broke the rear passenger window, must have been idiots though they missed the rear view mirror tv.
I never thought I'd say this but the new Sd's look too good for their own good.
I came home late one night from a race and parked my 30' Pace in front of the house and found one whole side and back door keyed the next morning. Another time, same trailer, same place I opened the front door and saw a grapefruit hit the back door of the trailer. My neighbors teenage son and friends were watching the movie Jackass and decided to act out. I knocked on their door, no one answered so I called the cops. The cop got ALL of those teens to wash the whole trailer. LOL

There would have been a dead tree hugger in that parking lot! When i head into Atlanta, there are a few evil looks thrown at the truck every once and awhile. It scares me to think what i would do tp someone if they messed w/ my truck in the name of the environment!
