i get my pads from advanced auto parts. i always get there good pads from the front and cheap shoes for the back. make sure you have good wheel cylinders on the back of your truck and that all your adjusters are working good!

I have Napa Ceramix (thats who its spelled) and they seem pretty good. Alot of people rave about Hawk pads and powerslot rotors if you looking for more stopping power. Also if you are looking at complete overhual of the rear drum brakes you can upgrade to rear disc for a bit more money. 4 wheel disc brakes is SWEET!!
I just found a dealer in the mid west (can't find the receipt right now) who had the originally installed pads, I had 153,000 miles on the originals. for that many miles and no damaged rotors I have no problem paying $100.00
I have a pair of factory Ford shoes for sale on eBay. They brand new. Take a look we could make a deal if you want the factory type. PM if you are interested.

I am waiting for any indepth mod like disc bakes until I get back to the states. Too much work over here. I did get my EOT installed and you know what it did help my idle, and I found my terrible fuel milage/ leak problem. It was the that sensor on the side of the regulator on the fuel filter. I forgot the name but I guess it is common for those to leak and mine does. 36 big ones for the sensor.

Good to hear! I don't blame you for wanting to wait on your disc brakes! its alot of work to build them yourself!
