Heater core replacement - '99 Expedition

How hard is it to replace heater core in 1999 Expedition?

Does the dash have to be removed?

Any links would be helpful, too.

Its been explained a dozen times on here, should be an easy find with the search feature,,, its the same as Evopator core replacement and blend air door replacement as far as getting the dash loose and teh HVAC case exposed.

Yes, the dash has to be removed or at least pulled back. Some members have posted detailed instructions on how they did it. I know this comes up in the 97-03 forum quite often.
