i will check the fluid again, it seemed ok a while back but maybe its low again. also do you think that maybe the converter is ok and that i just need some wiring fixed or something? i would rather not have to pay for a new torque converter.
I would very seriously check the wiring again. I know there is at least one harness attached to the tranny, maybe two. Even the smallest nick in a wire shorting to ground or something like that can cause all sorts of headaches.
Also, you mention "...but maybe its low again." Has this been a problem with the tranny, losing fluid. I would for sure check the level, and also the lines going to the cooler out front, make sure they are not pinched or crushed from the removal and replacement of the motor (I am assuming they pulled the motor, and did not do an "in chassis" rebuild)
