I'm looking for a couple of pics of the dream beam kits spindle and steering joints with tires on to get an idea of why you guys didnt have any issues with tie rod ends like i did. Other kit pics would help as well. Thank you guy's.
The DJM kit does require the tie rod end relocators to drop the tie rods to the factory level. Is this what you are having an issue with?
I had a little trouble installing mine since I couldn't get a wrench that would fit into the brackets to tighten the nut for the tie rod, but I improvised by grinding a little bit off the bracket until the wrench fit. I don't have any pics of it but I can give you advice if you need it.

Yes mine is lowered 2 1/2" so in order for the steering links to pass thru the radius arms an extension (collector) is needed to lower the the connection point on the tie rod ends. This put the t-ends next to the side wall rather than up toward brake calliper.
In picture number 2, far right, I think you can see the extension in place above the tie rod end...
Are you missing these parts from your kit?
Actually pic 3 just about got it but its just behind the backing plate and cant see it. Not missing these parts but more curious of my options since nobody else seems to be having this issue of clearance. "10 second project" postings shows this connection but I think he's running a narrower tire than I'am otherwise he would have the same problem, his is a little diff than i had but i custom fabed a new one but had to do alot of fab on the steer links to get it right.

So, if I get this right, now that the tie rods have been relocated, they are now hitting your tires? I did not run into this problem on mine. I am currently running 8" wide steel wheels (I think these were optional on some of the older trucks, maybe just on 4x4's, dunno cuz I picked them up at a swap meet for $30) with a 255/70 r15 tire. I have also run stock '95 F150 wheels (wheels on the truck in the pictures) with 235/75/15's with no issues.
This is not my truck this is mwvdub truck I took this from project: 10 second f100
Is this what you are talking about.
Yes the picture is exactly what i'm talking about. After reading other replies i realize it maybe just my tire size that gave this issue 8" wheels standard offset with 275/60/15 tires. I'm not totaly computor savy so I dont know how to post a pic but thank you for all your help. The connector exstention I had looked alot diff than that one and even more diff now.
Mwvdub's brackets look exactly like mine. I can see now how you may have some clearance issues if you are running a 275 tire on a factory 8" wheel. You will either need more offset or a narrower tire to make that work.
