You're a little limited to what will bolt up. 351M/400s has the same bellhousing bolt pattern as a 460. They didn't make AODs with that bolt pattern. If you're thinking overdrive, you'll have to go E4OD. Unfortunately, it's processor controlled. There are companies that make stand-alone processors for E4ODs but they're very pricey. The only other option would be an old FMX but they're a lot more rare than a C6.
