in my opinion no but its all about what you want and what its worth to you. one thing to think about is that you can find powerstrokes for that. You can buy most older ford diesels around here for 5000 or less no matter the condition. You can slap a turbo on it yourself and still be at about the same price. so idk think about it and compare it to truck prices in your area. However, if you can get a powerstroke or a cummins especially I would ditch your find.

sorry but lets face it our idi's arent cummins. I like my truck but that big rig sound and long life of the cummins is irreplaceable

That type of truck is fairly rare, and becoming more popular. You will likely have the dana 60 front end, and with a stick shift, there is not much to go wrong with these trucks (no computer).

If you can afford it, and its what you want, I would go for it. Book value has little basis on reality when it comes to these trucks.

hey tom, i don't know where your from but i'm a small dealer in ohio and deal in used diesels. i scour all the classifieds,ebay,etc.etc. if you can find me 4dr. 4x4 94 turbo diesels in good shape for $5,000 and less tell me where and how many i'll buy them all. i've been looking for a good deal on a crew cab idi turbo 4x4 for myself and it took a year and a half to find a good deal on one $4,900. and even at that i've put about $1,500 into it with in the first couple of months. 94 cc idi turbo's are not very common all though they are out there. i've sold rough around the edges 92-93 non turbo extended cab 4x4's for $4,500. your not going to find very many crew cab powerstroke 4x4's for $7,500. you will but they'll be rough or have 250,000 miles on them. i just saw a rel nice 94 cc 4x4 idi turbo sell on ebay for $7,400 on ebay this week. i wouldn't pay $7,500 for one but i'm a cheapskate too.ha-ha if the truck is real nice $7,500 isn't out of line. my .02 later, pete
