They make a wrench, you just screw it on and pop them out of the rim... I really don't think pulling valve stems goes in the 300 forum maybe try the tire forum.....
Is there much involved to replace them,or can they be adjusted,or cleaned?
Oh maybe I am using the wrong terminology. What I'm asking about is on the motor.I seem to be pushing alot of black junk out the tale pipe.If I pop the valve cover off the head, aren't they right there?

I was just kidding...I had to jump on it...sorry i'm kinda dumb like that.
What is under the valve cover are the rockers, rods on one side and valves on the other with the big springs. I think you have to remove the head to remove the valves. Kind of a big job for black junk. I have this problem when i don't run the motor for a while.
I bet you could get rid of your problem with a tune up. New plugs, wires and clean up the carb. Run some octane boost or some higher test gas, to help clean the engine up. Just my opinion... My truck loves tune up. runs like a champ with new plugs, and a carb kit. Good luck, sorry for being a smart a$$...
That is really funny, seriously! My kids are asking me right now what's so funny.I love a good sense of humour. As far as a tune up I've already done that. The carb though,I know it's not running right. That would be a big improvement. And don't forget,I owe you one.
Adding a can of B12 or Seafoam to a tank of gas can work wonders for the entire fuel system. Carbed or EFI. I do this about every 6 months on all my vehicles. The car is prone to sitting around quite a bit during the winter, due to carb icing issues, so it always gets this treatment every spring.
During the winter I'm not driving the truck very far.I start it up,drive 1-2 miles get to work shut 'er down. There's too much snow to get anywhere else.If i'm going out of town I take the wifes car.So the carbon build-up potential is high.
