Magnaflow makes one for the 5.8.

I'm thinking about getting this one for mine.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-93307/

It says that it is 2 inch with 2.25 inch outlet.

Isn't the factory Y pipe 2.25 and 2.5 outlet?

If the Magnaflow kit really is that small I might go for the Bassani one.

thanks for the input guys, Put the magnaflow on the other day, sounds great and feels great. currently i have the mag kit w/. single cat. into a hooker aero flow, 3" tail pipe. Sounds good, not too loud but has that v8 purr i was looking for, plus less lag and seems to get power a bit quicker. Highly suggest for anyone who isn't looking to spend a lot, supertruckusa.com had this for 201 shipped.

Thats cool. I'm glad it worked out for you. Do you know what size the outlet actually is on the Y pipe behind the cat? Is it really only 2.25?

With mendrel bent tubing a 2" Y pipe with a 2.25" outlet is an upgrade from the stock setup which crimps down to less than 2" in several spots.
