302HO just has the roller lifters. Normal rockers just like our trucks. I have a set of reman E7TE's that I had on my truck before a rod broke. Now I just have to save some money to get them worked to put them on my stang. Unless I can sell them but that isnt looking too bright.
They only have roller cams... lifters are plain old hydraulic lifters. I don't understand why people go ape over these, you can build a heck of a lot more motor than the factory setup ever dreamed of.
85-95 Mustang 5.0 received the roller motor, this is a roller block, cam and hydraulic roller lifters. The block has been machined in the lifter valley to accept a retainer that hold the lifters in place. The E7 truck heads were utilized on the Mustang starting in '87(E7). The rockers are the same as the truck, stamped steel.
The '93 Cobra got GT40 heads and 1.7" roller rocker as standard equipment. This has been a very common upgrade for the 5.0.
The Ford explorer is also another place to look for a budget head upgrade. 95-96 received the GT40 heads and 97-00 got the GT40p heads. The 'p' heads are a little better but you may run in to a header clearance issue due to a revised spark plug angle. If you are looking to get some performance and not into spending money on the stock heads, I would start looking for some Explorer heads.

the GT40's are good heads in themselves and you do a little porting on the exhaust port and smooth out that thermactor bump a bit and you'll have some killer torque...the GT40P's are damn good heads too...like stang said.....you will have header clearance issues with those heads.....if you can find a good set in the first place.....
V8 Explorers are starting to pop here rather frequently in the local boneyards. The problem is getting to them before someone else does. One yard gets $16 per head(any head) and $16 for an intake. Those are killer deals when you find them. The other yard gets 75-125 depending on their mood for the day. Higher if they know you pulled it off the Explorer.
