Plus, the Costco return policy is head and shoulders above anywhere else so as far as I'm concerned, you can't go wrong there...

I'll second that.
I bought 2 new Kirkland brand batteries for my F250 PSD about 2 years ago, and before Christmas was having a bit of trouble with them keeping enough of a charge to start my truck after it had been sitting for a week or two.
The batteries had a 100% return policy for 36 months, and pro rata after that up to 72 months I think, so I returned them to Costco for credit on new ones.
Even though the old ones cost something like $50+ when I bought them, and the new ones were now over $80, they gave me 2 new batteries at no charge. You can't beat that!
for those with Costco memberships, their Kirkland Signature batteries for our trucks have a "claimed" CCA of 900 (even though I trust a Costco claim more than most any other retail outlet).
I just picked up 2 for $70 a piece a couple of months ago and they've turned over in great shape in as low as -10 degree weather. Plus, the Costco return policy is head and shoulders above anywhere else so as far as I'm concerned, you can't go wrong there...

FYI: Johnson Control says they are identical to the Sears Die Hard Platinum!!
I put an optima battery in my mom's car. The battery has been around since the year 2000. Still strong as heckeven with some electrical issues with the cart hat really drained it. I going to put one in my Superduty when the time comes.
that one guy is corect, there are only a couple of battery makers . but they make different battery of different qulity for the differnt marketers. i always buy the highest cca i can get and spray the terminal with battery terminal protectant and respray when needed.
