Ok, so just got back from mechanics. Went under the notion that I needed a new caliper and brake pads. Everything turned out ok, but the mechanic noticed that my front and rear left spring shackels are cracked, the rear one pretty badly and the front one has just begun.
So, my questions. Do the reverse shackel kits just cover the front springs? I need a kit that will replace all the stock shackels, as I can't really rely on the stocks supporting the new kit.
Money is not a huge issue. Having the back leaf let go is.
A reverse shackle kit only does the front. Give Sky manufacturing a call. I bet they can set you up with something for the rear too. Or you could always buy stock shackles from ford.
Hey Nut,I hope this helps.I have an Off Road Unlimited reverse shackle kit on my truck.I've never had to mess with the rear;other than when I lifted it with 5" springs. Now it's lowered back to stock; but I still run 35's on it. Give the boys at ORU a call.Their real nice people.
