Reverse shackel kit. Questions
Ok so I'm swapming my TTB for a Dana 60. I also want to do a rsk at the same time. I have a few questions for the guys that have done this.
1. This is where I found to get it from. Good place? 92-97 F-250/F-350 front shackle reversal - Sky's Off-road Design
2. Do I really need the sway arm on the rear? I know my Chebby K10 doesn't have on on it dana 44.
3. Can I use my stock shocks? I just put new Gas mactic shock on the truck at 137,800. Really don't want to have to get new ones.
4. Do I need the rear 4.5 shackel flip if I'm adding F350 blocks and going for a leave look.
5. Could someone post up some pictures of the rsk in the frame and behind the rear area. I know the difference it makes.
Thanks Doug.

Cary (OBSWIZ) is a good guy. He's done a lot of R&D on the suspension mods for the OBS trucks and was one of the first, if not the first, to do the RSK with Super Duty springs.
I agree with everything Neal said. I can get you pic's of my set-up, but I used SD springs, so I had to move the RSK spring hanger forward about 3 1/2 " from the stock location. If you're using OBS F350 springs you will not need to do this (but the truck rides better with the SD springs...).

Hey man, im in the sameeeeee boat! My d60 is out being sand blasted right now! I have F-350 rear blocks....And i wanted to go with a RSK. They make a 3" and a 5" RSK....Well i know the d60 raises the truck up 2 inches...So if i go with a 3" RSK and the d60 thats 5" lift upfront....And 4" out back. WTF makes it level??

Try to find some 'V' codes if you can- they give a pretty good ride. Mine set-up is the D60, 3" SKY RSK, V code SD springs in the front,
4" F350 blocks and SD 'B' code springs in the rear. It sit's perfectly level. I like a little rake, so I'm going to swap the 4" block for 5" blocks once I
finish my other mods and pull it out of the garage.
The 'B' codes in the rear did not change my ride height, and honestly I didn't notice a change in the ride quality either.
You may already know, but the spring codes are different weight ratings. There should be a chart posted on here somewhere. I don't have it any more, but I know I've posted it.
In order, lowest to highest-- U, V, W, X. W would be good if you have a big heavy bumper & winch. X would be could if you plow, but not sure a plow mount would work with the RSK & SD spring set up...
