radiator for test stand....
hey guys,
i got all the steel to build a test stand earlier this week and i got a radiator(aluminum) from pull apart today from a 93 lincoln town car with a 4.6 liter v8. anyone think this is too small for just running it on a test stand. anybody know a good way to test it for leaks without attaching it to the motor? or should i take it to a shop and let them pressure test it and fix any problems? the radiator looks good, but im not positive about it. just wanted to get some input before i mount it to the stand. ill be building the stand this weekend and (hopefully!) crankin it up tuesday or so. thanks,

It will probably be adequate since you aren't going to put a 'load' on the motor. If it was in a car, I doubt if it would be adequate. You may get an electric fan and hang on the front of the radiator also, just to be sure.
