got the DP tuner installed ... and WOW!!!!
let me start by say thanks to clay at riffraff for helping me pick the tunes... the tunes: stock, +40 tow, +80 econ mtn, +100 performance and +120 race...
Instructions were spot on though I decided to cut out a rectangular slot in the pcm bracket so not to put too much tension on the chip or cable.
Performance wise all I have to say is WoW!!!! This trucks got attitude now.... the plus 80 is lively and really wakes up the beast and the +100 is crazy and if that wasn't enough the +120 is just insane!!! And all this from just a little chip! Now just to decide where to mount the switch.
Thanks again Clay and to Jody at DP the F5 is great!

There's a great place to mount your switch, if you don't have the round one. Just below your gauges and to the right of your steering column is a flat space about 3" x 3". It fits perfectly there with just a bit of dremel work. You can easily reach behind there by dropping the fuse box cover. Mine took about 10 minutes to mount, another 10 minutes to clean up the dremel dust. You can see it while driving and it's out of the way.

yeah, I thought about that too but wasn't sure what was behind it since I tried to pop-off the dash and the radio wanted to come out along with it. it was raining the other evening ( imagine that in oregon) and I just couldn't wait to get it hooked up to try it out... I'll get the asthetics done this weekend and make it look nice.

Do you have a gauge pod? Just realized I'm way behind on posting pics - might get caught up on that this weekend.
Mine's mounted next to my bottom gauge where it's easy to reach and looks clean.
My thinking was that it's easy to disconnect and hide under the dash if CA started 'smogging' older vehicles... which it turns out... they've just started doing. (My " . " tune also happens to be my 'emissions' tune... so the light up numbers won't draw attention either... and you'd have to be familiar with the system to get it out of that mode.) Also - it didn't require drilling any holes in my dash.
