I have no switched over yet. With stage 1's you will see minimal gains but you will get rid of the stock filter bowl which is a plus! Cost depends on if you buy a kit or piece together you own. Even that depends on your part scavening abilities. One of the bigger cost items is the regulator ($150). The pump is easier to find used or other options.
hey there ive done the electric fuel pump conversion and i didnt notice any power gain at all...i guess the advantages of it is it clears up yur engine bay makes things easier to work on and adjustable fuel pressure and what not....i guess i would recomend it if you are running some big injectors with some big OIL....and also i was just wondering if anybody out there knew if i could run dual superduty pumps inline????? kuzz i know beans diesel has an option of running dual pumps???? soo i was wondering if you could couple the pumps together but i wasnt sure if the fuel pump would fail from high pressure being forced into the inlet side of the next fuel pump????
yes dual SD pump can be used. Works well from what I understand.
Flea for filters you would need to find standard spin on filter with bases. There are a ton of options out there with very common filters. Most people use a 30 micron water seperator pre-pump and a 2 micron post pump.

I would think you would run the dual pumps in parallel to increase the flow. Hooking two pumps inline with each other would be asking for trouble b/c if they aren't flowing the exact same amount one of the pumps will cavitate
