fuel lines

I have 97 350. When I look at the engine through the drivers wheel well there are two hard fuel lines (one on top of the other) going to rubber hoses with what looks to be quick connects. They are in plain sight and originate from the rear of the truck. Are these the sending hoses from the dual tanks or am i missing something?

They are supply and return from the selector valve which is what both fuel tanks hook to.
