I remember seeing a while ago that some one had a three gauge pod that sat on top of the dash above the radio. Anyone know where I can find this? I'm planning to install my oil temp, and oil/fuel pressure there, or any location that looks good. All electronic gauges of course.
I will get some pics tomorrow morning. My pillar pod is black so I left the 2 pod black as well. I like the contrast and with a gray interior and black exterior I think it works well.
I put a three gauge pod for a dodge ram on the dash. It's a Autometer 15002 for 1998 to 1999, with a little trimming it fits. You can get them on ebay real cheap.
On the passenger side it sits pretty good. Front I dropped the lower lip over the edge of the dash so it looks goo there. The driverside of the pod though sits up about a 1/4 inch. A little contouring of the pod would make it fit very well. I just didn't have the time nor tools availible to do it at the time. I just used double sided tape to stick it down.
or wait for spring, park in the sun and keep the windows rolled up ;-) It apparrently is none too warm where TJ is. I'm just about to buy a pyrometer so I'll be studying up on gauges and stuff. Good luck Farm
