your looking anywhere from about $1800 and upwards.

your choices are pretty much, banks(now discontinued). ATS and hypermax

ATS
- approx $2000 US
Hypermax
-approx $1800 US

i am trying to decide on a turbo for my 93 as well

I know some people on here that like the ATS design. If I was going to get a turbo i would go with ATS. But its your decision I am just putting in my input. It would be good to call and talk to both companies and see what sets the turbos apart from each other and any differences in their kits. You can also look on ebay or craigs list in your area for used ones, and some come up in the classified section on FTE but i have only seen 1 so far.

Hope this helps out some

Adam

As stated above, plan on spending around $2000 new. You will find one on E-Bay from time to time but you need to make sure that the turbo isn't shot. You also need to make sure what comes in the turbo kit to make sure you are getting all of the parts you need. Some kits I have seen for sale are missing parts which can add up very quickly. ATS makes the best kit im my opinion for these trucks. Dave S. is running that system on his truck and I'm sure he can chime in and give you all the specs you need from and end users point of view rather than the "advertised" specs on the site. I also had the ATS system for a short time and loved it although I got rid of it with the engine. Now I have another IDI for a farm truck and wish I had it back!!! Oh well.

Look for the 7.3 IDI systems.

The product is 73WG - $2094.75

You also need a downpipe.

http://www.atsdiesel.com/ATSWebsite/...rd/Exhaust.asp

73301 - WGK - $84.89

The rest of the 3" exhaust system can be made at most muffler shops for less money than ATS wants.
