Anyone ever purchase a chrome package on the side for a SC Lariat. Is this only available from a Ford Dealer?
If so, what all comes with it and how much $$$
Thanks for any info.
Have a 08 Scab Lariat on order right now with the chrome pkg. I think it qA bout 1250 bucks. Front and rear chrome bumpers, chrome mirror caps, chrome running boards, exhaust tip. I think that's all. Go to the ford site to make sure.
I'm reading the original post as, can I go to the dealer and order the chrome package from the parts guy. I doubt this is available as a package but I'm sure you can order all of the individual parts. It will cost you a boat load more then the option package ordered on a new vehicle. I would guess you'll end up paying a few thousand for all the parts.
Thanks for the feedback fellas...
The reason I ask, if I purchase a (used) 07 King Ranch or Lariat and it didn't have the Chrome stuff on it that I like, what my options were to get them.
I wasn't sure if this "chrome package" was a Ford only item or if some after market suppliers also offered them and what the price it would be.
*I don't like the painted front grill or lower bumpers on a standard Lariat or KR.

You can find the parts that you are looking for from the aftermarket. Look at Ebay and even local shops for take offs. You may even check for collision repair shops or online suppliers for aftermarket bumpers.
Hammerdown, I have a chrome package on my '08 Screw. I don't really care for the grille and nerf bar. If you are interested I would be willing to let them go for a very reasonable sum.
My chrome package on the 06 Lariat included, quoting from the sticker:
Chrome step bar, Chrome pwr htd signal mirrors, 18" chrome plated aluminum wheels. Truck also had chrome exhaust tip and chrome bumpers but they are not noted on the sticker description as part of the package, though I suspect they are. Package cost was $1,295. It did not include the billet grille. That was extra - mine came with the OEM honeycomb.
Ford also offered then a "Chrome Edition" that included the Chromed plastic grille from Roush and a special CE badge on the tailgate. Cost was an extra $250.
Since purchasing mine with the package, I've added the Roush Grille, chrome door and tailgate handle covers, polished fuel door, chrome F150 signature bug shield, the Chrome Edition badge (from Billet Badges - could not find a Ford dealer with one) and the 'chrome' turn signal bulbs from Stealth Bulbs.
Thanks for the feedback fellas.
I'm after a local 07 Lariat SC Tri-Sand Loaded w/all the chrome stuff sitting on 22" chrome wheels (I like it a lot!)...the owner may not sell.
Then there's a copper 07 KR SC looks kinda plain w/no chrome 18" wheels...will cost $$$ to make it how I want.
HYPO...thanks for the offer but I had better get the truck first...lol

Hey what style chrome grill is it? I am interested.
I've got the 18" chrome wheels on my 06 Lariat. I'm looking to by a set of 20s within the next 30-45 days. We can make a deal if you want and don't mind the wait.
