The standard 40's do have the thermactor bump...I didn't mess with it on mine and I probly should have but I'm sure porting the exhaust side ports helped it out a bit...she'll sit n spin that's for sure.

I've done one set of E7's, the one's that're on my 89 Ranger. Can't give you flow numbers but they seem to work pretty good, used these same heads on two motors now, first was with a B303, the present has an F4TE roller. I think the truck ran 14's with the B cam, ain't had a chance to run it thru the 1/4 with this motor yet. It sure doesn't lack torque though and has a smooth power band from idle to 6000.
