hub removal wtf

1999 f250 SD 4x4

Looking for a little help - I'm trying to replace the ball joints/kingpins. It looks like the cv joint needs to come apart in order for me to drop the hub down. Is the cv joint pressed in there? I have pics but dont know how to attach them.

All I can tell ya is that your gonna need a 3 jaw puller for the hub. My truck was stubborn though. We ended up having to take it to the stealership.

The wheel hubs are bolted on from the back by the joint if you are talking about the wheel hub. There are four nuts back there after you remove them the hub can still be kinda stiff to pull out and you may need to us a puller.
