Door jam pin/switch problems

Door jam pin/switch problems
The door jam switch for the interior light on my truck was bad. I bought one to replace it and when I was trying to put it in one of the wires going into the plug that the switch plugs into pulled out. It doesn't look like there is any way to get it back in. What are my options? Does anyone sell the plug the switch goes in?
Does anyone sell the whole wire system. I assume it just goes from the door switch to the headlight switch? It would just be 12 inches of wire with the plugs on both ends. Would the site sponsers carry something like that or would I have to go to Painless or Centech.
