Yeah, and he almost spelled "fraulein" correctly.

Casey, I noticed the letter kept referring to "registered before" dates. I wonder if they mean "registered there in Germany", "registered for the first time after manufacturing", or "build date" for categorization.

Might be something to look into and/or exploit, depending on what they by "registered" date.

You said it TJ. Next October I will be on the plane ride home with any luck. You never know how awsome it is to live is the great US of A until you live somewhere else for a little while. Every other place is only good for a visit. My home is where they fly the red,white, and blue.

I can drive on and off base. Its just the major cities are off limits. I can no longer go down town or to the Frankfurt Airport in the truck only the car. Although the polizi try to get me with every law in the book now, Legally I can still do it or I was able to do it until now.

california smog for diesel

I think I read at the smog shop that by 09 diesels will be getting checked. Not to sure how far back they will go. I'll have to go back and get a copy and post it here.

when we HAD e-check in ohio, they did diesels. it's all gone now. i always find it interesting that as strict as cali is with emissions they give the diesels a free pass.
